Community Spirit: An Exchange, 2020
Community Spirit: An Exchange is a participatory project connecting like-minded individuals. During the pandemic, the public are given open access to a dress pattern and an instructional booklet along with the invitation to create their own version of the Uniform. All Burton asks for in return is the exchange of documentation.
Post pandemic, a physical version of the booklet will be handed out at exhibitions and events by the girls while wearing the Uniform. Acting as missionaries for the group.
